Weston Cox is a Senior at Mountain Home Christian Academy where he has attended for six years. Weston will graduate with honors in May and will be attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in the fall, where he will major in computer science.

In his spare time, Weston likes to read and hang out with friends. His favorite author is Frank Herbert and he says his dream job would be “software engineering”. Three things on Weston’s bucket list are: snowboarding, base jumping, and traveling to another country. One way Weston says he can impact the world is: “by becoming aware of the plight of others and standing by them.”

When asked how Mountain Home Christian Academy has impacted and prepared Weston for his future, he replied, “The impact of MHCA is indescribable. I wouldn’t be who I am today without the guidance of everyone at MHCA.” Weston’s favorite scripture is Ephesians 4:32 “and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you”. His favorite book of the Bible is John “because it shows that Jesus loves intimately,” he said.

One thing Weston like’s most about his family is the closeness and honesty they share. He says his parents have always taught him to “hope for the best and prepare for the worst”.

Weston says his greatest accomplishment to date is completing over 30 hours of college before graduation. Something he would tell his younger self is: “get out and socialize a bit more. Don’t spend too much time locking yourself away. You look good man, don’t be insecure. The classes are easy, and you will find what you love, so relax and have fun!”

Weston hopes to be remembered by his classmates as someone who kept it real and pushed everyone forward. He said, “I also want to be remembered as the spontaneous funny guy who was always cheery. I hope they know I care for all of them.”

Congratulations Weston!  We are So Proud of You!
