Potential MHCA Students
Application procedures for the 2025-2026 school year.
Thank you for your interest in Mountain Home Christian Academy. We know you have a choice when selecting a school for your student and we are excited you see the value in a Christian education.
MHCA is a discipleship school. Our mission is to partner with Christian parents to develop students as servant leaders with Christ-like values through a quality education based on the truths of God's Word.

If you believe your student would be a good fit for MHCA and its vision, please take the first step, which is to complete a New Student Application.
Note: Even if enrollment is closed, students may start the application process at any time.
After the new student application is completed. Here's what to expect:
Every family is asked to schedule a time to tour the MHCA facility and meet the administrators. Book a Tour! If you do not live in the area or if the time slots available do not fit your schedule, please call the main office at 870-424-6622 to schedule your visit. If a student is 3rd grade or older, there is a required student interview that will take place during your visit as well.
If you're applying for second semester, you will receive a correspondence email as soon as possible. If you are applying for the 2025-2026 school year, MHCA will begin sending out acceptance/rejection emails after the close of Open Enrollment for returning students (March 14th, 2025). You will receive either an "invitation to enroll" email, a "rejection for admission" email, or in some cases a "wait pool" notification (in the case that your student's grade is already full).
If you receive an invitation to enroll, you will have 48 hrs to complete the online enrollment packet before another student in the same grade is invited to enroll.
In order to submit the enrollment packet, a birth certificate and current vaccination record or exemption must be uploaded and the enrollment fee must be paid.
Once the enrollment packet is completed, submitted, and paid, your student's seat in a class will be secured.
You should receive confirmation via email that the packet has been submitted.
That's it! You will be added to the school communications to recieve announcements and updates! Welcome!
