Stone Robinson graduated from Mountain Home Christian Academy in 2021 where he had attended since pre-school. Following graduation, Stone will attend the Honors Scholars Program at John Brown University in the Fall where is has been awarded the competitive Chancellor’s Scholarship. He plans to major in psychology and potentially attend law school in the future. His favorite subjects in school have been English and Bible and he has played basketball for MHCA for the past 6 years.

In his spare time, Stone enjoys playing music and spending time with his friends. He also likes reading, camping, hiking, fishing, and photography. His favorite writers are American Novelist John Steinbeck, British writer C.S. Lewis, and African American poet Paul Laurence Dunbar. Three things on Stone’s bucket list are: learning to surf, driving his 1979 Wagoneer across the country, and publishing a novel or book of poetry.

One way Stone says Mountain Home Christian Academy has helped prepare him for the future is “by teaching me the Word of God. This one thing, has made me who I am.”
His parents agree, “we are so grateful to MHCA for having partnered with us for the past 14 years in the teaching and training of Stone in academics, truth and character. We are overwhelmed with thanksgiving for the boy he has been and the man he has become.”

If Stone could give counsel to his younger self, he would say, “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, ‘I find no pleasure in them’. Enjoy your time, but delight in the Lord all the while.”

Administrator, Michael Cully said, “Stone is a Senior leader at MHCA, a mentor and example of a Christian leader. He has excelled in academics as he was awarded the Arkansas Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship while maintaining a greater than 4.0 GPA. Stone is always very respectful to teachers and staff. He is a fine young man who will walk with God and be successful in life.”

Stone would like to be remembered by his teachers and peers as someone who loved big and laughed often.

Congratulations Stone! We are so proud of you and know you will do great things for the Lord!
