We are thrilled that MHCA has been able to participate in the LEARNS program. We are already gearing up for next school year. Current LEARNS families may start renewing their EFAs starting March 4th. Students not currently enrolled in LEARNS may apply for an EFA starting April 1st at the link below. Perhaps, you are wondering if your student qualifies for this funding. Here's a list of the 2024-2025 criteria:
- IDEA diagnosed (officially diagnosed by a professional for a learning disability)
- Homeless
- Foster Care (past or present)
- Enrolled in a D or F rated school or level 5 district
- Military (Active, Veteran, National Guard, Reservist)
- Law enforcement
- Fire Fighters
- First Responders
- 2024-2025 First time Kindergarten (student must be 5 by Aug. 1)
- 2024-2025 First grade students (all)

If you're student does qualify for next school year, use the link above and apply for an Education Freedom Account. If approved, your student can receive money to cover tuition, supplies, uniforms, etc.
