Blessings and Serving Opportunities
MH Christian Clinic is in need of food items to restock their pantry.
Things most needed: single serving non-perishable foods like applesauce, peanut butter, vienna sausages, etc. Items that are small enough to fit in a backback and do not require refrigeration or heating to consume.
Other welcome items: Mac and Cheese, Rice, canned veggies, canned soup, canned meat, or any shelf stable items.
Items can be dropped off at the Christian Clinic on Tues-Thurs. 9-3 at 421 W Wade Ave. in Mountain Home.
This Clinic is a wonderful blessing in our community, let's give them our support.
Next, there's an upcoming 5K Run bringing light to Suicide Prevention and Awareness. They are seeking volunteers to help wit this event. Reach out to 870-580-5588 to volunteer. Don't forget to log your service hours in the family portal. If you volunteer through signup genius for future events, those hours will be logged for you by our volunteer coordinator.

Breaking news: 7th graders spotted proving freeze tag is still elite cardio. 🏃♂️❄️😂

Fifth grade had fun painting some non traditional sunflowers.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 25, MHCA will enable automated phone calls to families of absent students. This will hopefully be a gentle reminder of the importance of your student's presence at school and the need for a phone call to the office to give reason for the absence. Please note, every person will receive the call for their absent student even if they've already made the call to the school office. That information is put in the sytem later in the day. Consistent attendance is vital to student success. MHCA will also enable email notifications of missing, incomplete, and assignments marked zero in the system. This will give you a way to followup with your student about those specific assignments. As many of you know, you may acess your student's grades/attendance at anytime in the FACTS family portal using your FACTS login. You can reach the portal easiest by visiting our website: www.ChooseMhca.com, you'll find the portal link in the top right corner.
