K-12 families, please mark your calendars for April 14. On that day, EFA should be funded. Due to the deadlines already set in FACTS, it is important to log into Class Wallet on that very day to approve your tuition payment requests. You will see daily reminders about this up until the date. I apologize if that seems excessive, our priority is that everyone knows when to take care of this and doesn't delay. Also, as a reminder, renew your EFA in Class Wallet if you plan to use these funds next school year. Reach out if you'd like to be certain your student is renewed.
9th-12th grade students, don't forget to sign up to attend the High School Formal that is set for Friday, April 17. You can find information and details at ChooseMhca.com under News. The deadline to register and pay is Monday, April 13.

Monday, March 30: Red Steps chapel band from John Brown University led our weekly chapel service yesterday. It was a beautiful time of worship, scripture, and prayer! Thanks to these young men and women who traveled from Siloam Springs to share their talents and abilities with us! Easton Peglar is part of this chapel band and is a 2022 graduate of MHCA! He will be graduating this May from John Brown with a degree in Entrepeneuership.
Tuesday, March 31: Our 9th-12th grade track athletes have a meet today in West Plains. They will leave MHCA at 1:45pm.
Wednesday, April 1: MHCA Seniors will lead Early Ed chapel.
Thursday, Aril 2: Career Expo at ASUMH, Mrs. Bridges will be taking the sophomores and a couple of seniors to this event. The Career Expo is from 10-1.
Thursday, April 2: There will be Track practice at Cooper Park from 4-5:30pm.
Friday, April 3: Don't Forget! School is in session for this Good Friday! What better way to celebrate the risen Savior then by focusing on this good news for a school day!
Friday, April 3: There will be no trap practice for Good Friday.
Saturday, April 4: Therer will be a mock Trap Tournament at Fred Berry (If your trap student is planning on participating, please reach out to Coach Schmidt). There will be a food truck at the tournament for families to purchase lunch and beverages. Time will be announced later in the week.
Monday, April 13: This is deadline to register and pay for MHCA's High School Formal for 9th-12th grade students, their parents, and MHCA staff. It will be held Friday, April 17th at the Miser Lodge in Cotter, AR. The deadline to register and pay is Monday, April 13th. Juniors and Seniors that choose to bring a guest must have their guest registered by Thursday, April 9th. The cost is $35 per person which includes a meal, beverages, a portrait, and keepsake gift from the event. You must register to attend this event. EFA Renewals: There are still many families who have not renewed their EFA funding for next school year. Your promptness in renewing the funds, should the funding ever be cut or reduced, helps determine priority when deciding who will actually receive the funds. Some families who have multiple children in the program have only renewed some of their students. If you are a family that has multiple children in the program, log into Class Wallet and toggle between your student's accounts to confirm you have completed a renewal survey for each of the students in your family.
New EFA families: Do you have a 26-27 MHCA K-12 student that is not currently using Education Freedom money to help pay tuition and you would like to utilize these funds? You just need to apply! ACE scholarship: If you would like your student to be enrolled at MHCA but you have trouble paying the remaining parent portion, you may qualify for the ACE scholarship. Re-Enrollment and New Enrollments: Have you re-enrolled your MHCA student yet? The last day to get the current enrollment fee pricing for returning students is April 16th! To re-enroll, simply log into the FACTS family portal, and you will find your student's enrollment packet under Enrollment. Happy Spring Break! We are thankful for Spring and for a break from school! Classes and office hours will resume Monday, March 30th.

Continuous Enrollment families: Would you please take a few minutes this week to update and make any necessary changes to your demographics, etc in the FACTS family portal. Normally this would be accomplished with the completion of an enrollment packet. It's very simple to update information. Here's how: Log into the FACTS family portal, click Family, then Family demographic form. From there, you can update student demographics, medical, parent info, emergency contacks and pickup as well as grandparent info. When editing a section, don't forget to scroll down to access the save button and click save.
3rd-5th Basketball update: Basketball games will be held Thurday at 5:30 instead of Friday to accomodate families that might be traveling on Friday for Spring Break.
EFA families: Complete the EFA Renewal Survey in your student's ClassWallet account. It must be completed for each student in your family who participated in the program.
Re-Enrollment: Complete your student's re-enrollment packet in the FACTS family portal under Apply/Enroll, then Re-Enrollment. If you have decided not to re-enroll, simply click the link that says "will not enroll" or give us a phone call and let us know.
Creation Museum/Ark Trip: A packing list, vrbo details, itinerary, and room assignments will be going out this week. Watch your emails!

Here's what's happening this school week:
Monday, March 16: Today marks Open Enrollment for any students not subscribed to Continuous Enrollment. The enrollment fee is $150 through April 15th. You can enroll through the FACTS family portal. Log in, click Apply/Enroll, then Re-Enrollment, then you should see your student's enrollment packet to complete. Today, MHCA also begins processing new student applications and offering enrollment to approved students.
Tuesday, March 17: The monthly prayer walk will meet at 8:15 in the lobby just outside the main office.
Tuesday, March 17: St. Patrick's Day. Students must be in MHCA uniform but may accessorize with green. (No face paint please)
Wednesday, March 18: Our chapel guests will be Kyle Sexton and Josh Sloan.
Wednesday, March 18: The Freshmen lead Early Ed Chapel.
Friday, March 20: Trap practice at Fred Berry Center at 1:00pm, MHCA school van leaves from MHCA at noon if your student needs a ride.
3rd-5th Grade Basketball: Practice will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 4:00-5:00pm. Then on Friday games will start at 5:30. All players need to be at MHCA Gym by 5:15.
Renew/Apply for EFA funding: Many current EFA students have already completed the renewal survey. It's a very easy process done through your student's ClassWallet account. If you have not renewed, please do that at your earliest convenience to ensure you receive funding for next school year. If you have a current PK4 student this year and you plan to move forward with MHCA, your student will now qualify for EFA funding for next school year. You need to apply for that funding now. You can access the application on our Financial Aid page at ChooseMhca.com
Financial Aid: MHCA is accessible to all families if you want to put in little work and qualify for financial aid. The ACE scholarship is a great option that can be used in conjunction with EFA funds sometimes eliminating 100% of out of pocket costs of tuition to families who qualify. The deadline to apply is April 15th! You can find information about the ACE scholarship and our in-house scholarships at ChooseMhca.com
Spring Break: Spring break is next week, the week of March 22. School will resume on Monday, March 30.
