Classroom Group Pictures will be Thursday, October 31st. The order forms are going home today. If you plan to purchase a Classroom Group Picture for your student, please fill out the form, enclose your money, and return to your student's homeroom teacher. As we approach election day, let's remember the words of Psalm 33:12: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose for His inheritance." At Mountain Home Christian Academy, we stand on the foundation of biblical truth, recognizing the importance of a nation grounded in faith. George Washington once said, “It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor.” This election season, let's come together in prayer, seeking God’s guidance and favor for our country. May we, as individuals and as a nation, continue to uphold values that reflect His will and purpose.

A very nice hitch was found just outside the MHCA drive on Glenbriar Drive after school on Wednesday. Please help us locate the owner by sharing this post. If it's yours, stop by the school to identify it.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose for His inheritance." — Psalm 33:12. As a Christian academy, Mountain Home Christian Academy is proud to stand on the foundations of faith that have shaped our nation. As the Senate Judiciary Committee report from January 19, 1853, boldly stated: "We are Christian people...not because the law demands it, not to gain exclusive benefits or to avoid legal disabilities, but from choice and education; and in a land thus universally Christian, what is to be expected, what desired, but that we shall pay due regard to Christianity?" At MHCA, we strive to educate minds and shepherd hearts, raising up the next generation of servant leaders.

MHCA Family: We are asking for your prayers and support for the family of Mike Bonham, father of Michelle Sharp and grandfather of Eli Sharp, a current student at MHCA. Mr. Bonham recently suffered two strokes following back surgery. Mike has lost the ability to speak and has significant physical limitations on his right side, and he is currently undergoing inpatient physical therapy at Baxter Regional. The Bakersfield community is hosting a pie auction on November 2nd at 6:00 PM in the Bakersfield High School gymnasium to support the Bonham family. If you'd like to contribute, you can drop off items at the MHCA main office, or call 417-274-3113 for more information. Let’s come together in prayer and action to bless this family during their time of need.

Mrs. Cook's history class has been bustling with activity over the past few weeks. Students have been crafting remarkable Medieval Manor dioramas and developing their own study guides in preparation for the upcoming chapter test! Their creativity is truly inspiring!

Here is a unique winter scene!
Zoom in to truly appreciate the diorama on the far left! This group went all out!
It's the DIY fence this group created for me!
Our class created their own study guides for our end of the chapter test! These were so much fun and we all laughed so much!
First grade explored pumpkins and okra this afternoon. We have been learning about plants and parts of plants. It was so cool to get our hands on these awesome plants and bring our learning to life! Thank you to my awesome first grade parents who helped make this activity a success. We couldn't have done it without you! -Mrs. Schmidt

First grade practiced journaling today. We are drawing and writing about a time we helped someone. We learned that journaling is a wonderful way for us to help remember important events, fun trips, and awesome memories!
